    About
The purpose of this community is for the members of the Createspace Print On Demand community to post ads for their books and get feedback on scenes/chapters/other from their current projects.

This community is NOT officially endorced by the creators of Createspace.
Non Createspace members may also join and get feedback on writing, advertise their books, and ask questions about Createspace and how it works.

    Rules are as follows:

    Advertisement:
    * Ads can be pictures, videos, audio, and text.
    * Ads must be specifically tagged as an advertisement.
    * Ads cannot contain adult content, excessive swearing, or other things little kids shouldn't see. This community is rated E for everyone.
    * By posting an ad, authors are giving permission for that ad to be redistributed by other members of this community through print, email, or crossposting to other sites.

    Posts for Edit:
    * Authors may post pieces of their work for editing suggestions, reviews for their ad campaigns, and for general help.
    * If a post contains graphic violence or references to sex or other adult material, the post must be locked and under an LJ cut with a statement that it contains Adult Content. Or, you can post a request for beta readers and arrange for them to read your work outside of LJ.
    * You may not post your entire novel here for the sole purpose of using this community as a captive audience to your webnovel. You may post the first few chapters of your novel as a preview to interest people to buy your novel.
    * If you're afraid of someone stealing your novel idea, there are two options. First, you can post the chapter or scene under a Friends lock and LJ-cut. Second, you can post a request for beta readers and arrange with them outside of LJ to read and help you with your work.
    * Posts of this sort may NOT be redistributed by other authors.
    * Authors must ask permission before using reviewer comments in their ad campaign.

    Critiques:
    * Reviews of posted materials must be relevant to the post.
    * Critiques must be constructive. NO FLAMES. If you have nothing good to say about a piece posted for review, then do so in a polite way. Do not attack the author, comment on the piece posted. Do unto others, folx.
    * Try to start off reviews with something nice. We're all fragile little hermits here, so hand out a bit of candy before giving the medications.
